Join us in saying ‘Thank You’ to all the Cheltonian’s who gave so much and asked so little. Cheltenham lost more than 1,200 servicemen and servicewomen in the First World War.
The walk will begin in Sandford Park, take a route through the town, passing the war memorial on the promenade and finish in Montpellier Gardens where there will be a short service of remembrance. This is a total distance of around 1 mile and will be undertaken at a gentle pace.
Each participant will carry the details (and photo where available) of one of the named casualties on the Cheltenham war memorial. We invite you to come and watch the procession or register to take part (before Nov 7th) https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/cheltenham-remembers-ww1-memorial-march-tickets-49890692404
