Cheltenham War Memorial was unveiled in 1921. There are 1,297 names on the memorial today, 1290 original, 1 added after 1921 and an additional 6 which were added in 2014 during the first phase of the restoration. There are 1,296 men and 1 woman remembered. Click on the images below to view a close up of each panel and read the names after restoration.

Roll of Honour.
There are a total of 1297 names on Cheltenham War Memorial. There are photos of more than 800 Cheltonian servicemen and 1 servicewoman who died during the First World War. These were used to create banners and lanyards for our Memorial March in November 2018.
